ANAHEIM, Calif., June 28 (Our Los Angeles) — Disneyland Resort’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Anaheim, California, reopened after a 13-year-old guest exited a ride vehicle and slid down the attraction’s final roughly 50-foot drop, prompting a temporary closure and state inspection.

Disneyland officials said cast members stopped the ride after the boy got out of the vehicle on Sunday, June 21. The child was taken to a local hospital for evaluation as a precaution and later released.

The attraction remained closed for the rest of Sunday. Disneyland later said the ride resumed operations, and California Division of Occupational Safety and Health spokesperson Katherine Wzorek said inspectors “did not find any operational issues,” according to NBC News.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is one of Disneyland Resort’s headline rides for travelers visiting the Southern California theme park.
